Upon assignment by the
General Authority of
Youth and Sports
Welfare,
I have assumed the responsibility of chairing the Board of
UAE Shooting Association. Having in mind the huge
responsibility of managing the Association and disseminating
the culture of Olympic shooting in the UAE, the Board
members and I have joined hands to plan the Association's
activities in a systematic manner during the coming period.
Our aim is to provide a positive shooting atmosphere to
discover and identify the gifted and talented youth on whom
we shall count to boost our national team and to maintain
the high standard reached in the competitive shooting sports
at international, Asian, Gulf and Arab levels, particularly
after the lofty position attained by UAE shooting abroad.
The assignment to chair
the Board of the UAE Shooting Association is by no means a
simple task. It requires persistent hard work to glorify our
beloved nation. More importantly, it requires cooperation
and team work to realize our ambitions under the banner of
our beloved country.
